Legacy of Enova

Our story begins in Liechtenstein in 1975 where a young engineer named Werner Bachmann began creating industry-changing connector designs for the audio world. His work continued for the next 40 years creating innovative connectors in our industry until his retirement in 2015. Joining the Audio industry in 2006 as Managing Director over connector and cable manufacturing, Renato Jost later on shifted to leading rolls in Sales and Marketing.

In 2019 Renato took a change in direction and created his own company ENOVA Solutions AG, ENOVA with the meaning E for Entertainment and NOVA for brand new, based in Schindellegi (Switzerland) to continue new designs and innovations.

The Next Generation

In July 2021 Werner got homesick to the Audio-Industry and joined ENOVA Solutions AG as president. Like all existing products in the industry, manufacturing is done by using conventional and somewhat outdated processes of connecting a standardized connector to a standardized cable. As a result, these products have the same technical shortcomings and all products feel similarly. Based on overwhelming market feedback and input from industry leaders, the Enova Solutions team explored ways to improve these technical shortcomings. It became clear that improvements could only be made by challenging the traditional production processes. Developing the next generation of audio connectivity required a completely new manufacturing technology! Inspired by other industries and substantial of research, the Enova Solutions team developed a new injection-mold technology that had not been used in the professional A/V industry before.

ENOVA USA is owned and operated by long-time industry icon Mic Cardone. Mic immediately recognized the importance of bringing this revolutionizing technology and engineering knowhow making it immediately available in the United States.
